Last week we organised TEDxActonStreet, a TEDxLive event at C4CC. In this post I've gathered all the photos that I have, from my phone and from the event's photographer, into two organised slideshows.
I also want to thank Elena and Brian for their support in organising this and Eriko for her hard work on the day to cover the event.
Finally the day for TEDxActonStreet has come!
Our event will start in approximately 5 hours with registration and introduction and we will then dive into the TED experience.
We're looking forward to meeting everyone and exchanging ideas. TED has also launched a very useful Program Guide which can be downloaded for free. Check it out and be prepared when you come by today.
Whenever I need to be inspired, one of the places I look at online is the TED website. TED is an amazing and inspiring organisation that really works on helping ideas spread.
This is part of the reason that I personally decided to do my first TEDx event this week at C4CC in King's Cross, London. I wanted to bring 70 people together to watch the TED2011 streaming video and then engage into exchanging thoughts and ideas.
TED is also an inspiration as an organisation. Not only do they stick to what they believe in, they are clear about why they are doing this and they have created an organisation that people are so interested in that they want to evangelise. TEDx is a great example of the latter, people organise events in order to spread the message of TED and bring people together.
