Getting Ready for Simplicity Day 2011

Time does fly by! We have only 69 days left until Simplicity Day 2011.

We are slowly putting together all the pieces and here is where we are at the moment:

Venue: Centre For Creative Collaboration (Waiting final confirmation)
Date: 12th July 2011, 6pm - 9pm
Catering: Snacks, refreshments and some drinks will be provided

Agenda: Here is where we need your help and ideas! We want to hear what you want to happen during the event. We have had thoughts about doing a workshop on applying simplicity, a talk or just playing games and having fun. Share your ideas in the comments or email us on simplicityday@minimoko.com.

Same as last year, this event is a celebration of simplicity. We hope you will join us to have some fun and get to know each other.

P.S. We'll get the registration page up when we have final confirmation for the space.

One Week Left for #TEDxActonStreet!

(download)
TEDxActonStreet is only one week away! We are now going through all the details of the event and making sure that everything is in place for next Wednesday.

The day will start at 4pm with registration, followed by coffee and cookies and then an introduction to the event. We will then watch the live talks from TED 2011 and have long breaks to discuss the ideas.

The event is fully booked, but there is a waiting list so if you are still interested to attend sign up and we will do our best to allocate tickets if we get any cancellations.

See you all there!

Only 2 weeks and only 2 tickets left for TEDxActonStreet!

TEDxActonStreet, is a TED2011 Simulcast (TEDxLive) event. This means that we will be projecting a stream from the TED2011 conference in order to bring the experience of TED to London.

We're looking forward to meeting everyone and exchanging ideas.

Our Idea Wall at #C4CC

(download)
A box of dry erase paint from Rustoleum (can be found at Homebase stores in the UK), a foam roller and a nice smooth wall and we now have our very own idea wall at C4CC!

Rustoleum's dry erase paint is a great alternative to Idea Paint (a great product but quite more expensive) and the result is pretty good. All you need is a pack of their paint, a foam roller with a tray and a wall of up to 50 square feet. We decided to go smaller and with more coats to make sure it works and in the end it did. You need to be patient though as it takes two days before it can be used!

Anyone visiting C4CC, come around and leave us a message!
